ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY
The Company complies with all current and relevant legislation, and co-operates with the enforcing authorities as and when required, in whatever jurisdiction we operate in. WFC Substations environmental, health & safety management system is currently being developed to meet the standards described in ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems).
We are proud of our environmental, health and safety record and continue to develop policies and procedures that endorse it.
WFC Substations have extensive safety & environmental management experience on construction projects in Ireland. In managing safety of our projects, WFC Substations have significant experience in delivering completed projects without any reportable accidents. This is achieved by top level support by our Senior Management Team and an acutely safety conscious workforce. Our skilled inter-disciplinary project teams focus on managing safety at all times, and ensures key decisions consider risk & working safely.
We have significant experience in working in sensitive terrestrial environments, and have delivered on our targets to complete projects with limited or no environmental impact.
WFC Substations core principles include safety for all, at all times. In effect, we want all workers to work without harm from occupational ill health or injury. Zero accidents and pollution prevention are readily achievable aims, which should be realised throughout the course of construction avtivities.
