Location: Near Buncrana, Inishowen Peninsula, Co Donegal

Client: Enercon GmbH

Scope of works: 
Construction of 1 no. 20kv substation building at the 4.6MW  Sheeragh Wind Farm in north Co. Donegal. The substation was included in the full civils package awarded to Wind Farm Civils which also included the construction of 1000m of new site access road, 2 no. crane hardstands, 2 no. Enercon E70 turbine foundations and all site cable trenching. The works were carried out between April and June 2008.
