WFC Substations is committed to quality and service. We recognise that quality of design, construction, delivery and service is paramount to all our clients. All of the services we deliver are of a high standard and achieve or surpass our client’s requirements.
We believe that performance monitoring is essential in ensuring continuous improvements throughout duration of any project. Regular audits to monitor compliance and generate improvements to our Quality Management System, as well as regular training programme's to ensure our organisation is familiar with emerging practices, standards and procedures relative to quality improvement.
All our suppliers and sub-contractors are vetted for quality assurance before being added to our Approved Suppliers List.
There is also a process for contract/project specific Quality Plans, which can be developed in line with the Client’s own quality system where required.
The quality plan is developed to ensure that the changing needs and emphasis of the project can be continuously reviewed, addressed and integrated within the Plan. The project quality plan sets out the specific quality practices, resources and activities relevant to the contract requirements throughout the duration of the project, from contract award through to successful completion and handover.
Quality is supported by our own dedicated in-house resources. Using an integrated management system within the Company ensures prompt and easy access to project information whilst maintaining security and confidentiality.
We are currently in the process of developing our quality management system with a view to achieving certification to ISO 9001:2008 by March 2010.
